The food and service were fine. We wanted something more local instead of Subway.

Just don't even do it. 9 o'clock on a Friday night and only six people in the whole place. We waited 45 minutes and got nothing. No apology for the delay. If you're in the mood for the worst possible customer service of your lifetime this is your place. You will love being ignored by waitstaff, while begging for crackers. It's kind of like the rudeness of New York City in Montana. We were officially soup Nazi! No food for you today !

After stopping next door and not being waited on. We came here. We were told to sit anywhere. Waited and waited with no o e coming to take our order. Got up and left without eating. Very poor service.

If all 8 tables are filled you can count on waiting a good while for your food but it's worth the wait. Casual diner fare, huge portions and home vibe. It's average priced, and one if a very few options available in the metropolis of Saint Regis, Montana.

On our way from Spokane to Missoula decided to give this a try. Salads were horrible and dressing gross. I ordered the hot roast beef, had to send it back because it was cold. They stuck it in the microwave and it was edible. My son ordered the teriyaki chicken. It was so rubbery we couldn't tell if it was cooked. Sent it back and they brought him a burger which was greasy but ok. My daughter order a burger which was also ok. My wife ordered beef tips and noodles, the meat was a mystery and had a weird flavor, not a spice but a strange flavor, not pleasant. If you order onions, tomato or mayo they charge an additional 75 cents on top of the 10 buck burger. 43.62 for a very poor lunch.

Stopped here for breakfast, and the food was amazing!! Fiancé got the huckleberry pancakes and he loved them. I got a waffle, and for just a waffle it was damn good! The bacon was amazing! I would highly recommend. Staff was very friendly and fast :)

The food was good and very filling. The service was sketchy when I was there and less than half the tables were occupied but there was little attention to customers.

After a long weekend backpacking we were starving. The $9 hamburger was a frozen patty on a crappy bun. The $10 Chicken Sandwich was a frozen patty that only filled half the bun. My $13 Chicken Parmesan was egg noddles with watered down ragu with a 1 chicken strip diced up on top. We all agreed that the food quality was on par with a school cafeteria. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to.

Ordered their Turkey Melt sandwich and asked for it to lightly grilled. When the sandwich was brought to me it was obviously not lightly grilled and was almost as hard and dry as rock. The bacon was as tough as jerky and dry. Ordered tator tots to go with the sandwich but got French fries. Waitress never checked on us so we had to get her attention in order to get waters refilled. Waited about 10 minutes for the check and finally had to track the waitress down by the front door in order to pay the bill. I would have complained about all of the above but was in a hurry to get back on the road on my way home from my trip to Montana. Next trip thru the area I will eat elsewhere even if it means traveling down the road a little further.

Average service, pretty good food, but a little pricey for what you get. $10 for a BLT? Sitting by the door to the casino gave us a waft of stale cigarette smoke smell. Then found out you have to walk through the smelly casino to find the restrooms. The waiter said they hadn't allowed smoking since 2008, but the stench is still there.

Round trip I drove 1,700 miles (Oregon to Montana and back) Of all the meals eaten this place was the best. Great soup, Great Special, More than Reasonable. Oh its small , been there a while but the waitress and cook could make it anywhere. I loved it.

Stopped here to grab something to eat. I got the grilled chicken sandwich while my mother got the patty melt. The food was not very good, gross even. The waitress was pleasant. Atmosphere was nice. The food was just what brings it down. I would not eat here again.

Being on the road for days, you eventually have your fill of restaurant food and people. We arrived for breakfast early this morning and the "seat yourself" sign welcomed us. Okay...whatever. well, the first two available tables we found were strategically placed directly under speakers, playing the music too loudly. So, we found a back table, next to the door to the casino (which also happens to be the only way to access the bathrooms, oh goodie). The one waitress handling the entire place was cordial enough, and tried her best to accommodate us, even though there were no other tables, and we had to endure a very rude woman seated behind us, who did nothing but antagonize her male companion, answering his every question by dropping the "f" bomb. We ordered, my husband chose his usual fare of eggs/ham steak/hasbrowns/toast, and I chose the belgian waffle w/ huckleberry topping and whip, but an unfortunate breakdown of the waffler sent our waitress back out to apologize and ask me to order something else. I asked if I could have a 1/2 order of french toast w/ the huckleberry topping and whip and she was more than happy to accommodate. I highly recommend asking for this! It was scrumptious and the 4 halves of toast were more than enough! My husband's ham steak was huge and he said his eggs were down to perfection (he likes to mix them together w/ his hasbrowns). He loved the tang of the sourdough toast and the price of our two meals together was less than $20. I've stopped at the St Regis area many times, but this was my first foray into Jasper's. I hope that the food is consistently good, and that they ensure they are adequately staffed, as I will definitely stop here again.

Located at the happiest place on earth, the St. Regis travel center... Anyway, the food here is pretty dang good, gotta say. We had a Hickory burger and a lumberjack special (or something) Both were quite tasty and after a long few days on the road, its a welcome break from driving and eating doritos...

Below average food. There were mosquitoes every where in the restaurant. The Cajun chicken was very bland. Worst rice I have seen in life, super gooey. The pot roast was very bland as well. Soup was decent though. There are not many options around this area, but I would recommend you eat at the Subway.

Amazing breakfast....trout and eggs! It's the only place I've been that had trout for breakfast. It is worth stopping in this cool little town.

When traveling on Greyhound, you don't always get a lot of breaks to eat. And as a vegetarian, even when you get breaks, there's always the chance that you're going to end up at some Greyhound stop "restaurant" that serves chicken-fried everything, and you're going to have to settle for stale Corn Nuts and Gardettos... When we stopped in St. Regis, it was our first time in Montana. It reminded us somewhat of small town Utah, and fear set in that this was going to be a stop totally unfriendly to vegetarians. Thank god this did not turn out to be the case. We got our menus, and were surprised to see that one of the items on the menu was a garden burger. I decided to order one, with an obligatory side of fries, while my girlfriend, feeling motion-sick, settled for a kids grilled cheese with fries. When I got the garden burger, I was surprised again, to see that this wasn't just an out of the box garden burger, but a house made garden burger, all misshapen and homemade looking. It was delicious. The bottom bun was toasted so that it broke when I bit into it. Normally, I wouldn't think of that as an admirable quality in a burger, but it just added to the delicious flavor and texture of the meal. And the fries. The fries were delicious. They were arguably some of the best fries I've had. They were just the right amount of soft, and so tasty that when we made our way back through a couple days later, I got an order of the fries despite the fact that I wasn't very hungry. They were just so good that I didn't want to pass them up. Jasper's was a lifesaver along a horribly long Greyhound ride. If it weren't for them, all I would have had to eat was those weird tasting Corn Nuts from a shitty Spokane Greyhound station.

We spent the night in St. Regis on our way to Glacier National Park for the week. The restaurant was quite busy with the Saturday dinner crowd when we arrived, and, they had already run out of the entree I wanted to order, BUT, we enjoyed the experience dining here. The prices were reasonable, the waitress was so very pleasant and accommodating and hard-working, our dinner was tasty (pot roast, mashed potatoes w/gravy, veggies) & the proportions generous, and, the dessert - a huckleberry pie ala mode - was so delightful that it became the first of several huckleberry pie pieces we would consume during our week in Glacier NP. We were trying to find "Jasper-like" restaurants during our week at Glacier but no one came close. So we stopped at Jasper's for breakfast on our return trip home. The sweet cream pancakes were a treat - large and rich in fact that no butter or syrup was needed. We happily "boxed" what we couldn't finish to take home with us. Well done, Jasper staff.

When we came in here It was a little better than I expected, not just a hole in the wall but a decent sized restaurant with a bar connected . They seemed overwhelmed like they just got a big rush. It was dinner time so they could have used extra servers, the few servers they had seem to be running around like crazy. The menu had decent variety but mostly steaks, burgers, sandwiches, basic salads. None of the salads looked great to me (Caesar salad, taco salad, garden salad) and I would rather go around the corner to subway then wait what seemed like it would be a long time at jasper's. If you want country food or a steak, give them a try. Huck's seemed like a quicker in & out and almost just as good if not better in the same shopping center. 3 stars because the wait seemed long and I left, it only seemed fair. I saw a table drinking glasses of wine also, if you're in the mood for a drink you can get that here.
